In 2016, Alessia Capasso began documenting Montenegro, a country balancing European aspirations and the legacy of Tito’s Yugoslavia. “Golden Odyssey” explores its political, social, and economic challenges through the eyes of its youth. Her images capture everyday moments, revealing irony and contradictions, and painting a multifaceted portrait of a nation finding its place in Europe
