Rive

"Rive" presents 18 of Beppe Madaudo's most recent works, photographed by Philippe Antonello. Paintings and sculptures alternate with sweeping black-and-white views captured in the nature reserve of Lake Vico—the place that housed the artist's studio. The works are nestled among shrubs and wild plants, on the overturned trunk of a beech tree, or among branches fallen after a storm. Meanwhile, the landscape photographs carve out space within denser foliage, outlining vanishing points and abandoned walls, with the lake's water faintly hinting at its reflection.
